From the genre of the more mainstream of my themes “The African Women”.These essentially are visual allegories. The women represent instances or manifestations of units of Africa, a consciousness, a situation, an existence. Their uncompromised regal pose represent unquestionable beauty, confidence, strength, virtue and dignity (in place of corruption, exploitation, poverty, aids and war). The colourful, bright and sometimes very elaborate costume represent faith, hope and a prophetic call to the African Continent to “..arise, shine and be clothed in excellency and beauty.”

While these forms, artistic idiosyncrasies and style of rendering are mine, they earnestly regard a much bigger concept than themselves. They remind us of the known fact that we must take responsibility for our world and make a difference in the lives of several millions amongst us who need our help financially, emotionally and spiritually.
